DISCLAIMER
HEALTH AND SAFETY NOTICE/DISCLAIMER
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
The paints we are using are purpose formulated and hypo-allergenic and carry a CE rating, however in very rare circumstances there can be a skin reaction. We cannot be held responsible for this, so if you have any doubt about your child’s skin you should not allow them to have their faces or skin painted.
We can perform a test patch on the inside of your child’s arm to check for any allergies. Once test patch has been given please return in 45 minutes.
Parents/Carers agree to take full responsibility in allowing children to be painted.
For your child’s safety and comfort please ensure that children are supervised at all times. Unaccompanied children will not be painted.
All paint whether used on face, arms or hands should be washed off before bed.
Some colours may stain clothing.
Wash paint off with warm water, clean flannel and mild soap if needed. Do not use baby wipes to remove paint as this could cause irritation.
Please ensure your child is presented in a clean manner, ready for painting. We have baby wipes in our kit which are used to clean any spills and to clean the painters hands, but these are not to be used to clean your child’s face prior to painting. Baby wipes can cause skin irritation in sensitive skin. We cannot be held re-sponsible for any skin irritation caused by using the painters wipes on your child’s skin.
We will not face paint a child under three years of age. Face paint is not tested for use on children under 3, therefore we are not insured to paint children of this age. However, we will consider at our discretion to paint a hand of a child who understands and is willing after a patch test has been carried out.
In the interests of public health we reserve the right to refuse to paint anyone who suffers from the following conditions:
Colds
Eczema
Sensitive Skin
Head Lice
Impetigo/Staphylococcus
Ringworm
Cold sores
Conjunctivitis/Sty
Open cuts or sores
Allergies
Any other contagious infection or condition
Our painters reserve the right to refuse to paint any child, adult or accompanied person who’s behaviour is deemed unacceptable.
Whilst encouragement is given, painters will not paint children who are unwilling to be painted.
By allowing yourself, child, or any person to be painted it is deemed as an agreement and acceptance of the above conditions.
Thank you for your co-operation.
